Let your Depot Manager know if you're interested in enrolling for Rail Replacement Training. 

How can enrol in Rail Replacement Training?

Any driver can request Rail Replacment Trainng. Each Depot has a designated Lead Trainer [CONTACT HERE] who will arrange and tailor the content to your specific needs.

Who can volunteer to cover Rail Replacement duties?

Anyone can cover a Rail Replacement duty, providing full route training has been completed. Depots offer this work opportunity as part of the over-time process. Rail Replacemnt is both planned and reactionery so we require drivers to be ready and available at a moments notice.

Where do I go if called in?

If you're called in for Rail Replacement you will by asked to attend the nearest depot with avaible fleet.

I am now trained. How do I know if there's work for an upcoming replacement service?

Your depot Driver Mananger will have all the information about upcoming planned Rail Replacment work. 

I am fully trained on all Rail Routes, what happens when emergency cover is required?

The Rail Replacement co-ordinator contacts depot supervisors who then allocates work to available drivers. You can also join the WhatsApp Group for callouts. [HERE] Stating your full name and Depot Location.

How long does a typical Rail Replacement Duty last for?

The durarion of a Rail Duty can be anything from 30 minutes to a full day.

I'm operating a Rail Replacement Route and I'm on my last trip, do I service all Stations?

The Rail Replacent Route shoud be operated as instructed at the start of shift. Any addional Stations would be serviced as alighting (Drop Off) only.
